Description

  • A thermocouple is an electrical device consisting of two dissimilar electrical conductors forming an electrical junction. A thermocouple produces a temperature-dependent voltage as a result of the Seebeck effect, and this voltage can be interpreted to measure temperature.

Key Features

  • Simple and robust temperature-sensing device

  • Operates based on the Seebeck effect (voltage generated by heat)

  • Wide temperature measurement range

  • Fast response and high reliability

  • No external power source required

  • Available in various metal combinations (Type K, J, T, etc.)

Applications

  • Industrial process monitoring and control

  • Furnace, kiln, and boiler temperature sensing

  • Power generation and energy systems

  • Automotive engine and exhaust measurement

  • Food and beverage processing

  • Aerospace engines, rockets, and spacecraft systems
